This weekend, Chester Racecourse played host to the incredible Hospice of the Good Shepherd Strictly fundraising evening. A night of fundraising, celebration and dance. Taking over the Final Furlong restaurant at the racecourse, our incredible team ensured no glasses were empty, and no tastebuds left untouched. All because we know that great catering is when the guests don’t notice, but they remember it for years to come.
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd’s Strictly dinner proved a dazzling success. Guests were treated to an unforgettable evening filled with glamour, excitement, and generosity in support of the Hospice’s vital work.
The entire evening was a waltz between great entertainment, fundamental fundraising and seamless catering. Our Horseradish team weaved between guests and tables to serve the plates hot and the drinks cold. But taking centre stage were the incredible participants, whose hard work and dedication lit up the room with every step. Congratulations go to Alec & Hannah, whose spectacular performance secured them the Hospice Strictly Trophy.
It’s an incredible honour to be a part of such special evenings supporting causes like the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. Although congratulations and gratitude go beyond the venue, a special mention goes to Richard Pridding, who raised an astonishing £3,172, winning the Highest Fundraiser award. His dedication exemplifies the spirit of the evening, where every dancer and supporter came together to raise vital funds for the Hospice.
Heartfelt thanks go to all the dancers, supporters, audience members, the Hammond School, raffle prize donors, and of course, Chester Racecourse, for making this Strictly event such a resounding success.
