The great British summer made an appearance on the Roodee over the weekend for the White Oak UK Polo Series.
The lively atmosphere and the thrilling sporting action made for the perfect summer social as family & friends enjoyed the buzz of a matchday on the Roodee, the home of Chester Polo Club.
The pitch-side hospitality marquee proved to be a popular offering to entertain clients or enjoy a notable occasion with places selling out quickly prior to the event.
The Horseradish team were on hand to deliver creative catering in the new-look marquee. Friday saw a formal three-course lunch whilst Saturday observed a more relaxed dining experience with a two-course buffet style lunch.
The colourful display of fresh ingredients, bursting with flavour included a Charcuterie platter, shell fish platter and vibrant salad bowls.
Between chukkas, guests were welcomed onto the pitch to take part in the polo tradition of stomping the divots. As a Chester Polo tradition, a silver cork was hidden on the pitch, the finder, winning a bottle of Laurent-Perrier courtesy of Chester Racecourse’s most luxurious hospitality offering, Parade.
Spectators flocked to watch the four teams battle it out for the silverware and the title of the White Oak UK Polo Series 2019.
Team Laurent-Perrier scored top, White Oak UK in second place, Arbuthnot Latham in third followed by Partner Tech.
