Chocolate - What's Not To Love!

The most romantic day of the year is just around the corner.

If you are wining and dining at home this Valentines Day, try our delicious chocolate dessert recipe.

What's not to love about chocolate!  

Ingredients 

  • 200g pack of biscuits
  • 100g of butter 

  • 1 tablespoon of golden syrup 

  • 100g bar of dark chocolate 

  • 100g bar of milk chocolate 

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons of icing sugar

  • Whipping Cream 

  • Fresh berries 

Method

  • Crush the biscuits

  • Melt the butter with the syrup in the microwave, then stir in the biscuits 

  • Press onto the base of a tin and chill while you make the filling

  • Break up the two chocolate bars and put in a bowl then melt in the microwave for 2-3 mins

  • Stir in the vanilla extract and sift in the icing sugar

  • Whip the cream and fold into the melted chocolate

  • Pour into the prepared tin 

  • Leave to chill for at least 2 hours

  • Serve with fresh berries and cream
